My son Alex is in Pop Warner football. He is a receiver this year, a far cry from offensive tackle, last year’s position. He is the kind of kid, like many, who may be hard on himself when he under performs based on his own expectations. He makes it a point to “demand” that I exercise with him each night for at least fifteen minutes. I love it. It reminds me of my own dad playing ball with me when I was Alex’s age.

Every play he runs and performs dissimilar pass patterns. When we begin out, for the introductory seven minutes he drops rather a few balls and gets very frustrated at himself. Once he gets his rhythm, however, he catches almost each pass. It’s when you drop the ball, however, that you have a chance to formulate character. Alex would ofttimes respond with each dropped ball, “I’m terrible at this! I’ll never be a good receiver! Why do I even play this sport?”

He at last yelled out, “Why am I such a bad receiver!” More of a statement than a question, don’t ya think? I replied as I’m sure a lot of of you would, “If you say you’re a bad receiver, you’ll be a bad receiver.” He wasn’t satisfied with that until he calmed down. Later, as I was talking with Dave Skogen, my mentor, he pulled out this quote: “Whether you believe you may or believe you can’t… YOU’RE RIGHT!”

It’s so simple, yet so powerful. This is how millionaires are made. To them, putting together a million-dollar deal is the same as putting together a $10,000 deal. They see no divergence except that the former is more profitable and a better use of their time. Vision is something that doesn’t come easy. You need to get away from the fear of the unknown and a dream crusher called “status quo.”

It’s not just cash that drives people. Look at Gandhi, Mother Teresa and Martin Luther King, Jr. Didn’t they have aspirations that had not one thing to do with money? Perhaps there is a charity you want to get started or a fulfill a desire that is burning deep inside you but you’re just not sure how to get started.

So a great deal of of you could take your company and/or your life to a higher intent or just a more profitable level, but perhaps you’re still engaged in a struggle with the “How?” I recognise the mystery of outstanding business performers who have taught me how to take fear out of the way and establish a plan built on resourcefulness and desire. What do you want for your life? Do you feel stuck or do you just need a plan to aid you get there? Do you believe you may achieve outstanding things? Because whether you believe you may or believe you can’t, you’re right!

4My daughter loves these!
By Amy Mcfarland
This is a really cute set. My daughter loves the different textures, and of course she loves to chew on them. It’s just a tad pricey for what you receive, but I’m happy overall.

1CHOKING HAZARD The more you pop them the more they fall apart
By AmberSun
I bought these at the local educational toy store when my daughter was around 8 months old. She has enjoyed chewing on them, and likes swinging around a long string of them popped together. In the last month (she is now almost 12 months), several of them have lost their male ends, so there are lots of little choking hazards floating around. The plastic is thin, so I think the more you pop and unpop them, the more likely they are to fall apart, then you are left with trash. I have seen other brands of higher quality. If I buy any again, I will not get this brand.

5great for 8 months +
By K. DiPaola
I bought the Pop beads for my cousin who will be a year old in April. While she’s still too young to put them together, the various colors and textures spark her curiosity. She loved holding them and touching them, and chewing on them too! The product is durable and the pieces are fine for kids to chew on. Overall, I think it’s a great toy!
